Interesting Facts: The alternative name for this species, Common Wintercress, refers to the basal foliage that stays green all winter before growing large and flowering in the spring. Most people villify this plant as a weed, but in the right spot this species makes a great addition to a sunny habitat. This plant can only be found in the meadow area of the preserve.
