Interesting Facts: The common name of this plant refers to its habit of closing its flowers when the sun gets high in the sky. The foliage of this wildflower appears earlier than the flowers and can appear as a patch of "grass". This plant occurs in a localized population along the Deer Lick Run Creek in the preserve.
