Interesting Facts: This delicate spring wildflower occurs in small populations throughout the woodland areas of the preserve. The more widespread False Rue Anemone (Isopyrum biternatum) looks quite similar to the true Rue Anemone, but has a deeper-lobed leaf and a smaller flower. Isopyrum also tends to bloom a little earlier in the spring.
