Interesting Facts: This wildflower is probably the most well-known of all woodland species because of its large, umbrella-like foliage. Only plants with a double stalk will support the large, white, and waxy flower. The common name of this plant is derived from the large green apple that appears from the pollinated flower, usually in the month of May.
