Interesting Facts: This wildflower species exists in a localized population in the meadow area of the preserve. It is a favorite food for bumblebees, of which they return the favor by pollinating the plant. To its detriment, the foliage is a favorite among mammalian herbivores like the White-Tailed Deer.
