Interesting Facts: This plant is a biennial and blooms primarily in the moist, deep woodland areas of the preserve. It gets it's name from the small "appendages" between the sepals. It also blooms lavendar, as opposed to the more common Large-Leaved Waterleaf (Hydrophyllum macrophyllum) which is white.
